Sky Team Single Player Review - Is this boardgame better Solo ?

Description provided by BoxedMeeples on YouTube:

It’s famously a two-player only game. In this episode of Better Solo, I’m revisiting Sky Team — the co-operative cockpit experience where one player is the pilot, the other the co-pilot, and once the dice are rolled… you’re not allowed to talk. That silence is the magic. The tension between players is the reason it was in my Top 50. But here’s the question: if communication isn’t allowed anyway… do you actually need a second player? Using a fan-made solo variant, I’m stepping into the cockpit alone. Running both roles. Managing both sets of dice. Making every decision without the raised eyebrow across the table or the silent panic when someone places a die you weren’t expecting. Does removing the other player ruin the tension? Or does it sharpen the puzzle into something even tighter? If the best thing about Sky Team is the pressure created by silence… what happens when the silence is just you? Is it still gripping? Let’s see if this lands… Better Solo. ---- if you want to try out the solo mode, the rules for it can be found here : https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/268672/solo-variant ---- Gameplay footage has been cut down to make the video as interesting as possible.
