About Legends of Signum II: Warseer, from BoardGameGeek:
Legends of Signum II: Warseer is an innovative skirmish wargame set in the universe of Signum. In this hexagonal battlefield, players command squads of unique heroes and their loyal followers, engaging in tactical battles that are as thrilling as they are visually stunning. Each miniature represents a character with distinct abilities, allowing players to craft their strategies around their heroes' strengths.
One of the standout features of Legends of Signum II: Warseer is the introduction of the Hexagonal Grid system. Unlike previous versions of Signum that relied on rulers for distance measurements, this new mechanic simplifies movement and combat, creating a more intuitive and fluid gameplay experience. The hexagon is not just a shape; it's the foundation of a dynamic battlefield that encourages creative tactics and strategic depth.
The world of Signum continues to evolve, with the rise and fall of realms as war remains a constant force. Players will witness the clash between two powerful factions: the bustling Free City of Vallor, known for its rich trade and diverse populace, and the zealous Empire of Iron Nest, steeped in fervent devotion. As the narrative unfolds, only the strongest will seize victory and claim the spoils of war.
Legends of Signum II: Warseer not only expands upon the lore of its predecessor but introduces a wealth of new fantasy miniatures, an enhanced economic system, and a revamped battle mechanics framework. Adapt your strategies, harness devastating magic, and outsmart your opponents to emerge triumphant. In this realm, cunning and strength are your greatest allies.
