What happens when party game designers make a dungeon-crawling RPG? You get all the adventure and none of the homework. ENTER THE DUNGEON THAT DOESN'T STAY STILL Gather a party of up to six heroes (or foolhardy friends) and dive into this ever-changing dungeon. With billions of possible map configurations, you'll never explore the same dungeon twice. Build your character abilities, analyze the map, and draw your unique path through monsters, curses, and spike pits, racing fellow adventurers to complete quests and conquer each floor. Learn, set up, and begin play in under 10 minutes, but don't be fooled: the possibilities and strategies will challenge even seasoned gamers. Light enough to explore with the family, but deep enough to spend hours crawling with your gaming group... ready for adventure? Here's How to Play: 1. Build Your Character Draft Ability Cards to build your hero! Will you build a nimble, movement-based character, or a warrior that can smash through monsters and walls? Each new round, you'll keep your abilities and continue leveling up your skills - smart players pick abilities that work well together! 2. Shake up the Dungeon Give the dice tray a shake and lift the lid - you've just generated a brand-new dungeon with a path layout no one has ever seen before. Icons represent lurking monsters, curses, and colored treasure rooms to reach. Every 5-minute round, the map is completely different! 3. Reveal this Round's Quests Flip over three random Quest Cards - you'll all be competing to claim these objectives! Quests are fresh each round with tasks ranging from straightforward to wacky: defeating the most curses, creating unusual paths, or even being first to die! 4. Draw your... marker? On your dry erase Transparent Player Map, start at the stairs icon and secretly draw your character's path through the dungeon to achieve any quests you can - rarely is going after all three feasible! Use your character's unique Ability cards to take paths other players won't. You may pass through danger, but if you draw a path too perilous and don't have Ability Cards to save you, you may not survive your route! 5. Roll to Survive The moment of truth! Taking turns, each player lays their Transparent Player Map over the dice dungeon. Place the Adventurer Meeple at your path's start. Each time your Adventurer crosses danger, you'll have to either play an Ability Card or roll the Damage Dice! Lose all three hearts, and this round's adventure ends where you died. 6. Claim Quests Once everyone's run the dungeon, compare paths. Whoever completed each Quest best earns that card. Even a fallen hero keeps the quests they earned before dying! Tied for a Quest? The player with the most hearts remaining wins out, so avoiding damage is important! 7. Shake It Up, Again and Again No matter how you fared, all heroes are brought back to life, abilities intact for the next round! Draft a new ability to add to your character. Shake up the Dungeon, add new Quest Cards, and a new round begins. The player with most Quests won after five rounds wins! MEET THE EXPANSIONS! - Heroes With Class Expansion Pack Are you ready to claim your legacy? For the seasoned explorer, Heroes with Class puts you in the cloak, armor, or robe of one of six heroes with unique abilities and motivations. Will your once-per-dungeon skill help you capture a quest before a rival, or will you turn the tide by unleashing your devastating once-per-game talent? In addition to new, more powerful Ability Cards and expanded Quest Cards, you'll constantly compete for heroic titles, like The Brave or The Untouchable, that add to your arsenal, but are easy to lose. Enter the "Monument Room" (a brand new room die!) to gain a heart, warp to a new room, or even choose it as your starting point. - Evil Underground: Co-Op Expansion Pack When heroes shake, evil stirs! Some forces are too powerful to defeat alone. Unlock cooperative mode with Evil Underground, and face a rogue's gallery of monstrous bad guys, each with unique, game-changing powers. Work together to capture new cooperative quests, and keep them by helping your party defeat the villains. Beef up your games with ten fully-illustrated Villain cards and the new "Evil Lair" room die, and use the new Warlock character for a dose of magic. Fight together or die alone while trying to stop the world-ending schemes of the Golem, Dragon, Gorgon, and others. - Shaky's Bazaar Expansion Pack What dungeon is complete without an inexplicably placed merchant's booth? Visit Shaky in his strange Bazaar by adding the new "Merchant Room" room die to your dungeons. 20 insane Magic Item cards, ranging from the standard Health Potion to the mind-bending Scroll of Scrolling, can be used instantly or saved for later. But, no matter when you deploy them, use Shaky's wares wisely, or you might regret it. Explore dungeons as the Alchemist and whip up your own potions on the fly! - Tavern In The Cavern Expansion Pack Need a drink? Recruit some unstable allies at the Shaky Tankard over mead! Head to the new "Tavern" room to team up with one of 15 Ally Cards. Choose an aspiring hero to join you on your travels, or secure the services of a more unsavory character to undermine your rivals. Your Ally brings a unique, interesting, and powerful ability to your party, but beware: they have a quest of their own and will stop at nothing to achieve it. Go on tour as the lovable Bard, and lead your entourage on an adventure! - Deeper, Darker, & Even Shakier Expansion Pack A dark rift has opened. Can you close it before it consumes you? The Evil Underground syndicate is finding early success with some of their dastardly plans. Terrain Dice and Cursed Abilities transform the dungeon into the nightmare you hoped to avoid. Is eating the bizarre fruit worth gaining two hearts if you also have to roll the danger die twice? Is a portal to the opposite corner worth entering? Are you sure?
