About Secrets of the Lost Tomb: Epic Edition, from BoardGameGeek:
THE GREATEST ADVENTURE FOR THE FATE OF THE WORLD
Every 113 years, when a blazing green Three-Tailed comet tears across the heavens, something ancient awakens. From beyond time and memory, The Lost Tomb manifests-its location unknown, its purpose shrouded in mystery. A shifting labyrinth of impossible design, it rises from the fabric of reality itself, carrying within it the remnants of lost civilizations and legendary realms: El Dorado, Atlantis, Shangri-La, Avalon, Mount Olympus, Valhalla... all of them and more drawn into its depths. Older than history, older than myth, The Tomb is a vault of unimaginable power-where forbidden knowledge, priceless treasures, and world-altering magical artifacts of great power have been hidden from mankind since the dawn of time and existence. But the Tomb is not unguarded.
You are a member of a secret order, that for millennia, has stood as humanity's final defense-The Eternal Order of Perseus. Your mission is absolute: find The Tomb when it appears, enter its depths, and ensure that nothing within escapes... and that no one from the outside claims its power. The Order stands against the ancient horrors lurking within-entities born of myth or nightmare-as well as the ruthless forces of our own
world-rogue agents, relic hunters, and war-driven factions-who dare to enter the Tomb in search of its power. All must be stopped... before the Tomb's Secrets are unleashed upon mankind.
An elite operative, an Adventurer of the Order, sworn to safeguard the balance of the world. For if even a single artifact-or creature-were
to escape The Tomb, it could unleash chaos beyond comprehension... and alter the very course of Fate itself.
The prophecy is clear: when The Gorgon's Head Comet vanishes from the sky, the Tomb will disappear once more-taking its Secrets with it
for another 113 years.
You have one chance.
Enter the Tomb. Survive its trials. Stop what must be stopped.
Or be lost to it... for eternity.
