🎥 Scoring Points in Quarks!
One of the most exciting parts of Quarks the Board Game™ is scoring points. Every turn is a mix of strategy, quick thinking, and surprise!
Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Place a tile in a Quark’s pocket 🌀.
2️⃣ Rotate a Quark based on the color of the tile you placed. 🔄
3️⃣ Score points for the chains of matching colors you create! 🎯
It’s all about finding the best spot to place your tile and thinking ahead about how the rotation will change the board. But since everyone shares the same game board, every move you make could open opportunities for your opponents—or set them back! ⚡
Scoring Rules
Here’s a breakdown of how you earn points in Quarks:
🔸 Chains of Matching Colors: After placing your tile and rotating the Quark, count the number of tiles of the same color connected to the Quark that has your newly placed tile.
🔸 Connected Quarks: Chains that cross Quarks (tiles of the same color connecting from one Quark to another) earn points for the entire chain.
🔸 No Repeating Chains: You can only score a chain once during your turn, even if it loops back to itself.
Pro Tip:
The color of the tile you place determines which Quark spins, adding an extra layer of strategy to every turn. Plan your placement and rotation to maximize your points while keeping the board tricky for your opponents.
Whether you’re pulling off a clever move or celebrating a huge 15+ point chain, Quarks is all about those satisfying, unpredictable moments that make every game unique. 🌟
