Scientific Specializations - Unsettled® Module Primer

Description provided by Orange Nebula on YouTube:

When you’re stranded on an alien world, “general knowledge” is great, but “weirdly specific knowledge” is where the magic happens. What’s the boiling point of despair? How can I make oxygen from whatever’s lying around? Bring your unique background to bear in ways that only you can. With the Scientific Specializations Module you’ll have an official, card-carrying, scientific identity. Lacey and Jared are here to walk you through turning your hyper-focused, oddly specific scientific talents into actual life-saving abilities. No pressure. (Okay, *some* pressure. This is space.) In other words: learn how to integrate the Scientific Specializations Module into your plays of Unsettled®! And tell us in the comments what oddly specific skill you’d bring to an interplanetary disaster. Bonus points if it’s weird. 🚀 ORANGE NEBULA™ Get sneak peeks of new releases and stay up to date: https://www.orangenebula.com/newsletter/ Join the oddball conversations in the Outpost Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/theorangenebulaoutpost Shop Orange Nebula merch and other creations: https://www.orangenebula.com/shop/ Follow our social awkwardness on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/orangenebula/ 👽 THE OUTPOST PODCAST with ORANGE NEBULA A podcast about inspired thinking: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-outpost-podcast/id1449447524 🔥 SPIRIT FIRE™ HYPE ROOM Spirit Fire® Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/spiritfireboardgame ✨ OTHER CREATIONS Vindication® Board Game: https://www.orangenebula.com/creations/vindication/ Unsettled® Board Game: https://www.orangenebula.com/creations/unsettled/ ⚡️ ABOUT ORANGE NEBULA® O-Neb are a team of creative professionals bringing passion projects to life in the worlds of design and pop culture, with the goal of inspiring people (including ourselves) to think bigger. 0:00 Intro 0:54 Balance Disclaimer 1:28 Setup 1:42 Mechanical Explanation 3:01 Example #1 Nano-Machinist 3:46 Example #2 Gravity Technician 4:29 Outro
