Players will each represent 2 demigods and decide if they will try to help them both gain Renown or hurt one and help the other. Each round players will choose any of the 9 demigods, sending them to the board to select actions ranging from smiting to gaining the favor of different Gods. Players will score points equal to the space both of their demigods are on, or the gap between them on the score track. They also have a chance to lose or gain extra points if they can guess their opponent's 2 demigods correctly! The player with the most points win the game. For one reason or another these are just shy of perfect. Whether it's mechanics, length, brain burn whatever. 4.0 - This is where a game becomes recommended. Now I may or may not be in the mood, or even own it, especially considering other games. But a 4 is where we cross from good to great.3.5 - Really enjoyed, don't love it, will often lose out to better games, but there's a part of me that wants to own it/play it more. 3.0 - A good game, I enjoy playing it. But also if I never play it again I'm not losing any sleep over that. 2.5 - Wasn't the biggest fan. Wasn't the worst, but didn't feel like the best use of time. Would prefer not to play again but am willing to given the right circumstances. 2.0 - A game I don't want to play again. I'm not saying it isn't good, I'm saying I don't want to play it again regardless of circumstance. 1.5 - I did not like this game, do not want to play it, and think it's a fairly flawed game. 1.0 - I can't imagine rating a game this poorly ever. It would take something so abysmal I probably didn't get to even play it.
