River Valley Glassworks Deluxe — What Do You Actually Get? | Unboxing

Description provided by One Last Hand on YouTube:

Welcome back to One Last Hand. Today we’re unboxing the Deluxe Edition of River Valley Glassworks, along with the River Glass & Other Sundries expansion. River Valley Glassworks is a light 1–5 player drafting game from Allplay, designed by Adam Hill, Ben Pinchback and Matt Riddle, with artwork from Andrew Bosley. You’re collecting colourful river glass from a constantly shifting river, then arranging it in your own glassworks to build rows and columns while deciding which colours are worth pursuing and which could end up costing you points. The Deluxe Edition upgrades the production with acrylic river tiles, a neoprene river mat, a deluxe stand-up bag, dual-layer player boards and screen-printed animal meeples. We take a look through all of those upgrades, the different shapes and rarities of the acrylic glass pieces, the solo mode and the artwork across the player boards. We also open River Glass & Other Sundries, which adds six modular expansions with new player abilities and scoring conditions, including Assistants, Equipment, Lake Diving, Orders From Afar, River Treasures and Flooded Market. One thing for solo players to be aware of: River Glass & Other Sundries is not compatible with the Solo Rivals mode. I’ve somehow managed to miss River Valley Glassworks until now, so next step is learning it properly and getting a solo playthrough onto the channel.
