La batalla de Stalingrado tuvo lugar desde agosto de 1942 a febrero de 1943 y resulto ser una de las batallas más sangrientas de la segunda guerra mundial.
Ocurrió en la ciudad que hoy conocemos como Volgogrado. Ciudad adyacente al río Volga y que era la puerta de entrada a los campos petrolíferos rusos del Cáucaso.
Su importancia era vital puesto que permitiría a los ejércitos el Eje obtener una reserva de petróleo casi ilimitada y destruiría la ciudad que tenía el nombre del líder Soviético.
La batalla escaló rápido, y de los algo menos de 200 mil soldados por bando acabo implicando a casi 2 millones durante la contraofensiva soviética.
Pero no estamos aquí solo para hablar de historia, hoy venimos a hablar sobre
Undaunted Stalingrad.
