I absolutely love Outlive in multiplayer but there’s a problem. It has been sitting on the shelf gathering more dust than radiation for far too long. So rather than letting this post-apocalyptic survival game become a wasteland relic, I think it is finally time to try the solo mode. Can a game built around tension, competition and fighting over scarce resources still work when the table is empty? Does the Horde offer a proper challenge and is this actually the perfect way to get Outlive played more often? In this video I head back into the ruins to find out whether Outlive survives the transition from multiplayer favourite to solo obsession. ---- Gameplay footage has been cut down to make the video as interesting as possible.
