Watch “Playing Coast Watchers on VASSAL,” a how-to-play guide for Coast Watchers: Allied Field Intelligence in the South Pacific, 1942-1943 on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by the creator on YouTube:
In this video I show how to setup and play Coast Watchers using the VASSAL module.
Coast Watchers is the latest Volko Rhunke’s design for GMT Games and I am really happy to be in the playtesting team. It has “made the cut” and it’s available on GMT’s P500 list to pre-order. In the game’s page you will find more info and some great and interesting material!
Many thanks to William for maintaining this module and to Peter for the TTS module!
Note: The video is long, I have provided time stamps, see below. I have made some mistakes during play, some noticed and explained, there may be more. The video is not intended as a paly-through but to show case how the VASSAL module works (VASSAL 3.7.14, CW module version 2.6). At some points there are problems with the sound.
Disclaimer: everything included in this video is work-in-progress playtest and not finalized. Keep updated through the game’s official page.
