In Pathfinder Revolution, players are bidding for control of the city of Korvosa. Pathfinder Revolution is played over a series of rounds where players will be using their bidding board and 3 different types of tokens to secretly bid on different spaces that will give the tokens to use in the next round, influence over areas on the board, and other special abilities. Pathfinder Revolution has a really simple set of rules but really strategic gameplay. Pathfinder Revolution is also a very accessible bidding game. We played with our entire family and Peyton (9) and Jarred (12) had no problem picking up the rules and the strategy very quickly. During a game of Pathfinder Revolution, players need to do their best to not only bid on areas for control, but also predict what other players will be doing, because if two players tie on a bidding area, then nobody gets the reward and those tokens are lost, so being strategic and avoiding what other players are trying to do is key. In Pathfinder Revolution players will be bidding with Force, Blackmail, and Gold tokens. Force beats blackmail and blackmail beats gold. Winning spaces on the bidding board gives players tokens to bid with on their next round, and also the ability to influence areas on the map. At the end of the game, the player with the most influence on each area will win the points for that area, and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins!
