Description provided by Benjamin Cheung on YouTube:
This is an in-depth play guide video for Paradoxical that goes into details for set up, game overview & objective, and playing the game. Paradoxes are situations that have inexplicable or contradictory aspects. They are captivating logical mysteries. They can be situations that seem contradictory but are nonetheless true. Parrondo’s Paradox is one of the four key paradoxes in game theory. It was discovered by Juan Parrondo in 1996 describing a paradoxical situation where a combination of losing strategies becomes a winning strategy. This Tech Deck game exemplifies Parrondo’s Paradox from game theory. The players uses cards from decks with losing strategies to deduce a winning combination, to discover a Parrondo Paradox. Paradoxical is the 16th Tech Deck game. Check out the other games which include Tech Grid Poker, Tech City, Tech Exchange, Tech Chess, Gears of Industry, Elevator Pitch, Cardle, Peer-to-Peer, Cardoku, Newsworthy, Card Barrage, Prisoner’s Trilemma, Tricks of the Trade and Host a Heist Dinner Party.
