Pack of Penguins Board Game Review - Kickstarter Preview -

Description provided by The Game Bard on YouTube:

Do you like penguins? I do—and this simple game I can teach in under a minute keeps me coming back for more. But how? Kickstarter Link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/imaginebin/pack-of-penguins Part of a Paid collaboration. But all opinions are my own. 🏆 Game Highlights: Teach it in under a minute, but it keeps pulling you back in Flip an ice floe card each round that acts like a reward map Everyone plays a numbered penguin card, then places it into the row in number order Your final position in the low-to-high row determines your reward on the ice floe Eggs are victory points, but fish create a sneaky endgame penalty pressure The “start” reward is tempting… and kind of a trap Optional power cards turn fish into a first-come, first-serve currency for extra variety 🎵 I composed the music in this video. Hear more of my Board Game Songs here: https://games.lincolnhoppe.com/board-game-music/ Pack of Penguins is a quick, family-friendly game where you’re a cute little penguin trying to win the most eggs. You’re not nuking someone with an ice blast—you’re nudging them across the ice. Gently. Sometimes helping someone else while helping yourself. Great with family and friends, and especially new gamers and gateway gamers. It’s chill. It’s cool. And if this sounds fun… it just might waddle its little flippers right into your heart. 🌐 My Website: https://lincolnhoppe.com 🎭 About me: Lincoln Hoppe @lincolnhoppe 📱 Instagram: https://instagram.com/lincolnhoppe 🎵 TikTok: https://tiktok.com/@lincolnhoppe 🎲 The Game Bard is my dedicated Board Gaming Channel https://games.lincolnhoppe.com 📱 Instagram: https://instagram.com/thegamebard 🎵 TikTok: https://tiktok.com/@thegamebard 📧 Business Inquiries: games@lincolnhoppe.com Pack of Penguins Board Game Review Chapter Markers: 00:00 Do you like penguins 00:11 What Pack of Penguins is 00:17 Ice floe reward map 00:24 Play a numbered penguin card 00:31 Place cards in number order 00:42 Rewards by position 00:57 Eggs vs fish pressure 01:07 The start reward trap 01:16 The spicy part: going first 01:39 Gentle nudging interaction 02:04 Your hand shrinks over time 02:19 Ice floes reward different positions 02:46 Light, quick, fun 02:49 Power cards and fish as currency 03:12 Adorable penguins and vibe 03:28 Player count tweaks 03:44 Who it’s for 03:55 Final vibe and sign-off #boardgames #boardgame #kickstarter #packofpenguins #familygames #gatewaygames #tabletopgames #cardgames #boardgamereview #boardgamepreview #penguins #newgames #tabletopgaming #gamenight
