Neon Hope — Base Game, Deluxe Upgrade & Expansions | Unboxing

Description provided by One Last Hand on YouTube:

Welcome back to One Last Hand. Today we're unboxing Neon Hope from Hopeful Games, along with the A Hopeful Cause character expansion, Without a Trace standalone episode and the Deluxe Upgrade Pack. Neon Hope is a 1–4 player cooperative narrative card game set in a near-future world caught between cyberpunk dystopia and the hope of something better. The campaign uses branching decisions that can permanently influence how the story develops, with 33 possible endings across the core game. We start with the standard base game and look through the rulebook, storybook, cards, tokens and the game's grid-based test system. Then we move into the additional content. A Hopeful Cause adds four new playable characters, Nemesis cards and alternative encounter sets. Without a Trace is a standalone episode that can also be played as a prequel, with choices made during it carrying forward into the main Neon Hope story. Finally, we open the Deluxe Upgrade Pack, which replaces some of the standard components with acrylic character standees, weighted premium grid tokens and neoprene playmats. There's also a look at the storage and a few things I think are missing from the deluxe package. DISCLOSURE I contacted Hopeful Games about a review copy. They weren't able to provide one, but offered me a creator discount, so I purchased this copy at a reduced price.
