Mythwind Solo Playthrough: Ranger Overview & First Expedition (Ep 9) | Mythwind Monday

Description provided by One Last Hand on YouTube:

Welcome back to Mythwind Episode 9. In this session, we explore the unique mechanics of the Ranger — a character focused on expeditions, long journeys, and item-based planning. We start with solo setup and weather effects, then dive into multiple expeditions, navigating difficult inventory puzzles, ranger skills, and town actions over several days. It’s a rough season, with plenty of damage, missed rewards, and just a trickle of items returning home — but we press on! Along the way, we meet new event characters, test out the Hermit’s help, and start to feel the cost of ignoring our town’s infrastructure. It’s all part of Mythwind’s slow, immersive rhythm — and this episode brings that to life. 0:00 Introduction & returning to Mythwind 2:47 Ranger solo setup, weather & goal 9:02 First expedition begins 20:30 Day-by-day expedition encounters 36:12 First expedition ends 38:03 Town phase & adventure with the Hermit 44:20 Second expedition begins 1:00:35 Expedition problems & item loss 1:11:50 Final turns of the season 1:14:00 End-of-season scoring & wrap-up https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/317582/mythwind 🎬 Watch the full Mythwind solo campaign: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiRsH-oyKFlozOIMpS9fNF0arBtl3Q3Ws Enjoyed this video?
