MtG - Collectors- vs. Play-Booster, Is it worth it?

Description provided by Fishisforcat on YouTube:

Welcome to Fish is for Cat! We owned and played Magic: The Gathering a long time ago (2000ish). But sold our collection and stopped playing. Now over 20 years later we wanted to check out how Magic has changed and see what new cards and sets are out there. This is part of our 'first' batch of cards and bundles, we are still not sure where to start (or to frame it correctly, how to continue) with the flood of different editions, bundles and booster types. We are still hunting for Vivi, though a completely different question was bothering us, are Collectors Booster worth it? So we gathered 2 Collectors Booster and 10 Play-Booster which were roughly the same monetary value and checked. In the end we got 2 mythic both in the Collectors- and the Play-Booster, though naturally there were a lot more cards gained by the Play-Booster. So if you are just hunting for the rare cards, yes Collectors Boosterseem a good way to go, but if you want to expand your card pool Play-Booster should yield you more results. Alas, though our Gatcha luck got us 4 Mythic cards in total... there still is no trace of Vivi. ============================================================================== Like & Subscribe == https://www.youtube.com/@Fishisforcat?sub_confirmation=1 ============================================================================== Or check out our other https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_59X49LQO7FcXMwKdcr2fRH&si=vkmwSU65tp80YXDG ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Or out other AI playlists: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_6F7FXDrpXSMU9vxBLtQIsb&si=gvIvj-r1hKOSVFx6 https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_44O5ThAaQEXXB4t_RfhWdf&si=PggWCNh1L2uRNYIA https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_77GsYtS411UrrCQKW4mV1S&si=v7L95oVrcwQJN9y2 https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_5fBCqw3MYdokDndD_kUQ4j&si=bTEJVmAxkQvX1NwH ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We release an unboxing and a matching song once a week, in between we put fun songs and stuff that happened during out gaming sessions!
