Mountain Goats Legacy and Deluxe Components Unboxing

Description provided by ThisBoardGameLife on YouTube:

Join Mark as he unboxes Mountain Goats: Legacy from Allplay, along with a look at the deluxe component upgrades. In this video, Mark walks through everything you'll find inside the box — from the rule book and storybook to the wooden goats, chunky dice, journal, and those mysterious sealed components you're told not to open yet. He also shares why this legacy campaign game caught his eye as a way to introduce a familiar favorite to new players. Take a peek at the quality and contents before the story begins! Mountain Goats: Legacy is a dice-rolling game for 2–5 players where you roll and combine dice to race up the mountain, aiming to reach the top to score without getting knocked off. Rolling the goat symbol unlocks rotating player powers, and a new "Courage" system helps you mitigate luck and refine your rolls. Playable as a single session or as a fully replayable, resettable legacy game across 10 chapters, it introduces new hazards, abilities, and gameplay tweaks as your story progresses — with no components to destroy or modify. Designed by Alex Cutler and Michael Mihealsick and published by Allplay in 2026, it plays in about 20–45 minutes. 00:00 Intro 00:16 Game Description 01:11 Credits And Details 01:57 Getting To The Table 03:37 Spoiler Warning 04:00 Rule Book And Storybook 05:41 Wooden Components 07:44 Deluxe Components 08:52 Repacking The Box 09:41 Final Thoughts https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/460712/mountain-goats-legacy
