About Mining Frenzy, from BoardGameGeek:

In Mining Frenzy, 2–4 players pilot mining robots into three mines in search of gold, Epic Tools, and the rich Pay Dirt buried at the bottom of each shaft. Each mine is a deck seeded with Pay Dirt cards at regular depths. On their turn, a player commits to a single mine and digs by flipping cards: gold goes straight into their stash, but dirt, rock, and - in the deepest mine - molten magma block the way and must be cleared by spending Drill, Shovel, and Special Tool cards from your hand. Reaching a Pay Dirt card claims a major payout and seals the mine; stalling on an obstacle ends the turn and leaves the mine open, its excavation free for the next player to finish and cash in. Mine 1 hides powerful Epic Tools, Mine 3 guards the largest rewards behind magma that only Coolant can clear, and every dig is a decision about which tools to spend now and which mine is worth the commitment. The first player to collect at least 100 gold wins. Mining Frenzy plays in 30–60 minutes and contains 282 cards: three unique 44-card mine decks, 80 Tool cards, and 70 Special Tool cards. -description from the designer
