MIDHALLA - DT Preview with Mark Streed

Description provided by The Dice Tower on YouTube:

This is a Dice Tower Paid Preview. Mark takes a look at "MIDHALLA". Midhalla is a cooperative dungeoncrawler that focuses on strategic hero mechanics, tower defense elements, and a character-centered story. The game follows the story of Harkon, a newly trained Viking warrior as he faces the invading demon hordes. At the core of Midhalla's gameplay is a strategic hero combat mechanic that eliminates randomness and focuses on complex strategy. Players invest resources to build traps between combat phases to prepare for the incoming waves of enemies. The game also features a story-based exploration system that allows players to follow Harkon's journey and unlock additional lore as well as new gameplay elements as they progress. The campaign and all scenarios are fully replayable, with different classes, skills, events and varying enemy setup. 0:32 Overview 2:06 Campaign & Heroes 4:10 The dungeon 5:22 Resources 6:55 Explore 8:42 Prep & Combat 11:05 Kobold Trapper 13:02 In summary Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/eikejmeyer/midhalla?ref=83mcxe BGG: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/359291/midhalla Check out Great Tables, Games, & Bags at: https://www.boardgametables.com Support The Dice Tower at http://www.dicetowerkickstarter.com Support the channel by becoming a member! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiwBbXQlljGjKtKhcdMliRA/join Subscribe to our newsletter, "The Dice Tower Digest": http://dicetowerdigest.com Check out the friendliest conventions on Earth!
