Will you develop agriculture with fields and mills? Or will you become a pious church-builder or prefer to feast in your sumptuous palaces? Develop your lands in your image and become the most influential lord in the kingdom. In Middle Ages, you explore the economics of medieval urban life through eight distinct tiles: fields, farms, villages, forts, markets, barracks, churches, and palaces. Each tile features its own scoring system, yet it's linked to others, offering an immersive gaming experience. Unleash strategic maneuvers, from daring assaults on rival fiefdoms to reserving tiles for future use. Harness the power of tactical combinations to amplify your income and pave your way to triumph! With an ever changing tile board, you need to be able to plan ahead but adapt to changing circumstances to make the best moves. The richest player at the end of the 16th round wins. For one reason or another these are just shy of perfect. Whether it's mechanics, length, brain burn whatever. 4.0 - This is where a game becomes recommended. Now I may or may not be in the mood, or even own it, especially considering other games. But a 4 is where we cross from good to great.3.5 - Really enjoyed, don't love it, will often lose out to better games, but there's a part of me that wants to own it/play it more. 3.0 - A good game, I enjoy playing it. But also if I never play it again I'm not losing any sleep over that. 2.5 - Wasn't the biggest fan. Wasn't the worst, but didn't feel like the best use of time. Would prefer not to play again but am willing to given the right circumstances. 2.0 - A game I don't want to play again. I'm not saying it isn't good, I'm saying I don't want to play it again regardless of circumstance. 1.5 - I did not like this game, do not want to play it, and think it's a fairly flawed game. 1.0 - I can't imagine rating a game this poorly ever. It would take something so abysmal I probably didn't get to even play it.
