Micro Pirates First Look

About Micro Pirates, from BoardGameGeek:

The seas are alive with the clash of cutlasses and the roar of cannon fire! You, a daring captain, are bound for adventure in a world of peril and plunder. Ports bustle with the promise of brave crews, exotic wares, and whispered rumors of hidden treasures. Trade your fish and plantains for shiny coins, hunt down the elusive pieces of a legendary map, or strike fear into merchant vessels as you claim their cargo. Beware, though-fellow captains lurk in every cove, eager to snatch your spoils. Will you chart a path to fame and fortune, or will the tides turn against you? Only the boldest buccaneer will rise above the rest and claim their rightful place as a legend of the high seas! In Micro Pirates, players embark on an adventurous journey across the high seas, taking turns to complete quests, plunder merchant ships, discover lost treasures, recruit crew, and more. Every action contributes to earning valor points, the ultimate measure of renown. Valor can be gained through various paths, such as completing quests, unearthing treasures, delivering luxury goods, or defeating merchant vessels. The game ends when a player reaches the target number of valor points, securing their place as the most legendary pirate on the seas-and basking in eternal glory! -description from the publisher
