Mantis – An Exploding Kittens Game with no Kittens In Sight! A first look at this light card game.

Description provided by Tabletop Gaming on YouTube:

You'll likely have encountered an Exploding Kittens game along your travels, not least with it being one of the largest Kickstarters of the time, but also with it being in a ton of every day stores, and so easy to find and pick up. Full of quirky humour and fun artwork, they've branched away from just the Kitten market over recent years, and now we have Mantis – a colourfully cutthroat card game of rainbows and revenge (try saying that five times fast!). The game is about stealing or scoring, which you'll aim to do with matching cards. We take a look here at some of the cards, offer some first impressions, and then ask you to give us your thoughts! Now for the fun extra bits! Tabletop Gaming produces a monthly magazine! You can pick it up either as a physical copy to come through your letterbox each month, or as a digital download straight to your device. Check it out here: https://ttgami.ng/3M0JefY We're also incredibly excited to be on countdown for our in person event! This huge celebration of gaming will be taking place in Manchester in September. Tabletop Gaming Live is one you won't want to miss, so check that out by clicking here: https://ttgami.ng/3w3pxyA Enjoyed watching about Exploding Kittens? How about some more from them? 🎥 We took a look at the new version of Exploding Kittens (Cat Burglar), which contains a squishy cat to steal your cards: https://youtu.be/L_ARcAtulFM 🎥 And for another, we opened up Exploding Minions, a Despicable Me minion themed version! https://youtu.be/tXaRvdCznDw 🎥 For something different from them, check out one of my personal favourite games, A Game of Cat & Mouth: https://youtu.be/_rld5nNjvio There are even more – from the worst fake we've ever seen (it was for Cat and Mouth), to reviewing Tacocat Spelled Backawards, a TTG championship game (for a Mars Bar), and there's more planned.
