Manatee Sanctuary | Can We Build A Better Sea Garden?

Description provided by One Last Hand on YouTube:

Welcome back to One Last Hand. Today we’re playing Manatee Sanctuary — a cosy card placement game about building a sea garden, completing flowers, rescuing manatees, feeding them, and trying to score as well as possible over three rounds. This is a solo playthrough of the Sea Cow Edition, played as a first learning game with the rules explained as we go. We draft sanctuary cards, choose between expanding the habitat or using card actions, complete flowers for food, rescue different types of manatees, and try to keep everyone fed before scoring. This is very much a learning playthrough, so there are a few pauses and corrections as we work through the solo rules, feeding, scoring, and the different manatee types. In this video we focus on: - Learning the solo mode - Building the sanctuary with overlapping cards - Completing flowers and generating food - Rescuing grey, pink, and yellow manatees - Working through feeding and scoring BoardGameGeek: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/421316/manatee-sanctuary TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Manatee Sanctuary solo setup 01:19 Finding the solo board 04:54 Solo drafting rules 06:52 Sanctuary cards explained 12:38 Building the first sanctuary 15:23 Rescuing the first manatee 17:33 Feeding and scoring 19:04 Round two begins 21:28 Expanding the sea garden 24:10 Feeding correction 26:07 Final round decisions 29:43 Final score 31:19 Yellow manatee rule correction 33:13 Final thoughts WATCH MORE UNBOXINGS AND SOLO PLAYTHROUGHS You can find more solo playthroughs and unboxings here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiRsH-oyKFlr6BXSKP_EaJ6GbcrSNgoSC SUPPORT THE CHANNEL You can support the channel by becoming a YouTube Member.
