Mailbag August 4, 2026

Description provided by ThisBoardGameLife on YouTube:

Join Mark for another mailbag as he unboxes a fresh batch of games that just arrived. In this haul he shows off Star Trek Captain's Chair with its promo pack, Wandering Towers along with the Spell Pack expansion, and Night at the Zoo complete with the Late Comers expansion and a Unicorn mini-expansion. Mark shares a bit about each title and teases the individual unboxing videos still to come, so stick around to see what landed on his doorstep. Night at the Zoo (2026) is a 1–4 player game designed by Tomáš Holek and published by Albi, playing in about 30 minutes. The animals have secretly snuck out of the zoo at night, and now it's up to the players to guide them safely back home before the keepers notice. Each round you draft tiles and place them on your board to explore the darkened zoo, trigger special actions, and build a path home. With every animal moving and scoring in its own unique way, no two adventures play out the same. 00:00 Intro 00:29 Star Trek Captains Chair 01:49 Wandering Towers 04:07 Night at the Zoo 04:55 Final Thoughts https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/457412/night-at-the-zoo
