Watch “Mafia Blitz Fixed Social Deduction,” a board game review for Mafia Blitz from Gaming Caravan on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Gaming Caravan on YouTube:
I hate almost every social deduction game—but Mafia Blitz fixes four of my biggest problems with the genre.
Mafia Blitz is a fast, one-round social deduction game for 6–12 players that takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Instead of relying entirely on random accusations and mob mentality, players draft unique characters, receive actual information, pursue different objectives, and can remain relevant through the end of the game.
In this review, I explain how Mafia Blitz works, what makes its Vigilante system different, how it avoids prolonged player elimination, and whether this is the social deduction game for people who normally dislike social deduction.
Thank you to Mark Aritian for providing a copy of Mafia Blitz for coverage.
Additional gameplay footage was recorded with the Beans and Dice podcast at Dice Tower East.
