Description provided by The Board & Barrel on YouTube:

Chat commands: !bingo !rules !help Checking out the Spiel des Jahres nominees for this year! Captain Flip is a Spiel des Jahres 2024 nominee for Game of the Year, and a tile placement board game from PlayPunk. In this very simple game, players will take turns drafting tiles at random from the bag and deciding whether to keep the character they get, or hedge their bets and flip the tile to the other side. Once you flip it, you're stuck with what you get. Then you'll place the tile on your ship and resolve its effects. In the Footsteps of Darwin is a 2 to 5 player Spiel des Jahres 2024 nominee for Game of the Year, and a tile placement/set collection board game from Sorry We Are French. Full of educational add-ons about Charles Darwin and his exploits, the game involves a unique tile drafting system in which 9 tiles are visible, but only 3 are available to choose from on any given turn. Different tiles will grant different bonuses, but collecting sets and aiming for multiplier bonuses from your theory tiles will net the most victory points if you can manage them. Sky Team is a two player Spiel des Jahres 2024 nominee for Game of the Year, and a co-op dice placement board game from Scorpion Masque. In it, you aim to safely land a commercial airliner by placing dice on a shared control panel without communicating at all. One player acts as the pilot, taking care of the landing gear and brakes, and the other is the co-pilot, opening the flaps of the wings and radioing the tower to clear air traffic. Modules added once you've mastered the basics include managing windspeed, fuel, and turns around clouds and mountains.
