Learn to Play Scotland Yard Board Game on Mobile [Android / iOS]

Description provided by Keepers of Fun on YouTube:

"Scotland Yard" is a popular board game where players work together to try to catch the criminal Mr. X, who navigates around the city of London. Here's a basic overview of how to play "Scotland Yard": 1. Setup: •Lay out the game board, which represents a map of London. •One player assumes the role of Mr. X, and the others are detectives. •Mr. X takes the special "travel log" and a visor to hide his movements. •All players (including Mr. X) choose a starting station and place their pieces there. •Players are given a number of transportation tickets: taxis, buses, and the underground. Mr. X gets a certain amount of each and also receives some double-move and black tickets. 2. Objective: The detectives aim to catch Mr. X by landing on the same space as him. Mr. X's objective is to evade capture until all moves are used up. 3. Playing the Game: •Mr. X begins by making a move in secret. He writes down his destination in the travel log behind his visor and places the corresponding transportation ticket face-up next to the log. The detectives can see the mode of transport he used but not the destination. •Detectives then take turns moving around the board using their tickets. They must always use a ticket corresponding to the mode of transport they choose. •Every few turns, Mr. X reveals his current location. Detectives should work together to deduce his possible routes and try to corner him. •Mr. X can use double-move tickets to make two moves in a single turn, and black tickets can be used for any mode of transportation without revealing which type was used. 4. Winning the Game: •If a detective lands on Mr. X's location during their turn, the detectives win. •If Mr. X avoids capture after all moves in the travel log are used up, he wins. Tips: •Detectives should communicate and strategize together. Blocking potential escape routes and working as a team is essential. •Mr. X should try to remain unpredictable and use his special tickets strategically. Please note that these are the basic rules, and there might be variations or details that can differ depending on the specific edition of the game you have. Always refer to the game's rulebook to ensure you understand any unique nuances or additional rules for your edition.
