I love the eco friendly packaging and that everything has it's own place. We play this game during fall at least once, so we need to decide whether we keep it or cull it after the season. The cards are pretty, the game flows, but it doesn't blow me away
📦 What's in the box
32 leaf tiles, 36 leaf cards, 48 animal cards, 60 mushroom tokens, 58 acorn tokens, 25 sun tokens, 4 squirrels, a tree board, and 13 solo mode cards.
🍂 How it plays
On your turn, you play a leaf card, take the matching leaf tile, and place it on the forest floor so it connects to at least 2 leaf tips already in play. You get one action for each tip you connect to, and the actions come from the leaves you touch, not the one you place. Grow mushrooms, collect animals, gain sun, climb the tree with your squirrel, or draw more leaf cards. Spend sun to move the season forward, and when winter comes, you score acorns for your tree position, mushroom groups, hibernated animals, and leftover sun and cards. Most acorns wins. There's also a solo mode against the North Wind.
