Lands of Galzyr Review: The Future of Narrative Board Games

Description provided by Board Of It on YouTube:

Lands of Galzyr (1-4 players) is a terrifically written adventuring game with an open and persistent world, with everyone's actions having consequences in both the current and future games. Players assume the roles of adventurers traversing the lands while completing quests and trying to gather fame and prestige. Each game continues where the previous one ended thanks to a clever save-and-load mechanism, with no need for paper-and-pencil bookkeeping. You can play the game as many times as you wish and even swap players between sessions! 0:00 - Intro 1:58 - Brief Overview 5:21 - Who It's For & Excellent Writing 6:30 - The Terrific Mechanisms of Galzyr 10:20 - A Session 11:10 - Competitively or Cooperatively? 13:52 - Final Thoughts & Doggos Geeknson Table: Our wonderful new table comes from Geeknson, and if you're considering buying anything from them please use this link, as a small portion of what you pay will be sent to us, helping to support and improve the channel: https://bit.ly/GeeknsonXBoardofit We also have a special 5% discount code for you to use!: GNS-FarrellMcGeoghan-5 Follow us on Instagram to see what games we're currently playing: https://www.instagram.com/boardofitreviews @boardofitreviews And on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BoardOfItReviews Twitter: https://twitter.com/BoardOfItReview @boardofitreview https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/281474/lands-galzyr
