Lacrimosa | Game of the Year Contender? | Mozart Themed Board Game | (Overview & Review Episode #72)

Description provided by kovray on YouTube:

Mozart has passed away, in his last moments he was composing the Lacrimosa movement of his Opus Requiem. Your role in this game is to share your memories with his widow and support the completion of his last piece by commissioning composers for the missing parts. Will you be the most memorable patron? Is Lacrimosa a contender for board game of the year? Lacrimosa is designed by Gerard Ascensi and Ferran Renalias, illustrated by Jared Blando and Enrique Corominas, and published by Devir Games, who provided us a copy for review. Lacrimosa takes place over five rounds (periods), with each player taking four turns in each. Each player's turn will consistent of an individual playing two cards, one in the "Experience" section, and the other in "Story." You'll complete the actions in the "Experience" section, which include upgrading your deck, commissioning and performing opus cards, travelling, and contributing instrument parts to the requiem. The player with the most points wins! Thanks for watching our board game overview and review of Lacrimosa! Question of the day: Do you play any instruments? If not, which instrument would you want to play or learn? Our series "Check it Out!" is a weekly series, where we introduce a new game, give you a brief overview of how to play and tell you what we thought along with why you should and shouldn't check it out. Essentially, a board game review! We appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos. Let's get composing!
