La Der Des Ders Gameplay & Impressions | Solo & 2-Player World War I Board Wargame

Description provided by Zilla Blitz on YouTube:

In this video, I show a full turn of gameplay in La Der Des Ders, the solitaire and two-player World War I strategic level board game (wargame) that lets you fight World War I in under two hours. Improve your technologies, lead massive offensives, and strangle your enemy's economy. Following that, I am joined by Steppengamer and we share our impressions of a 2-player learning game that we played together. It's not one resource point expended to replenish one strength point on a front. It's more nuanced than that. Here are the full rules: For each individual sector, the first reinforcement of the turn costs 1RP, the second reinforcement costs 2RP and the third costs 3RP. It is not possible to spend more than 6RP in the same sector. A sector can therefore only move its Sector cube a maximum of 3 spaces each turn. 2 - 10:28 - You do not get a research cube if you use a previous research cube to re-roll a research attempt and fail. Additionally, you don't get the die roll modifier for the research cube you expend in the re-roll attempt. (You do still get the benefit of extra resource points expended to increase the success attempt and the benefit from any research cubes that are still on the technology when you make the re-roll attempt.) Thanks to eddydelrio for pointing both these things out. —---- My Current Wargaming Tools- • Oregon 2.0mm Counter Clipper: https://amzn.to/3SUyDX7 • Oregon 2.5mm Counter Clipper: https://amzn.to/3SzYJPs • Bent Tip Lighted Tweezers: https://amzn.to/4hyCOVx • Long Tweezers (for bigger counters): https://amzn.to/45Oaw3Y • Plastic Wide Tweezers: https://amzn.to/43Ay1OQ • Dice Tower #1: https://amzn.to/3EcoQHU • Dice Tower #2: https://amzn.to/3RweSDS • Black Dice: https://amzn.to/3dXLd92 • White Dice: https://amzn.to/3rmQcn1 • Laser Line Sight: (out of stock) The game featured in this review is a review copy provided by Hexasim.
