Watch “Koi Board Game Unboxing | Tile Placement with Acrylic Koi,” a board game unboxing for Koi from One Last Hand on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by One Last Hand on YouTube:
Today I’m unboxing Koi, a tile placement board game from DV Games focused on building an ornamental pond filled with colourful koi, lanterns, bridges, and decorations.
In this video I take a relaxed look through the box contents — tiles, cards, player boards, and the standout acrylic koi — and put together a small table layout to give a feel for how the game looks when it’s set up. This is a first look rather than a rules deep dive.
Koi supports 1–4 players, and once I’ve had time to learn it properly I’m hoping to get this to the table both solo and multiplayer to see how it holds up in play.
In this video:
- Overview of Koi and its core idea
- Rulebook & complexity check
- Punchboards and main components
- Acrylic koi tiles up close
- Table presence & first impressions
