Description provided by Play The Game HQ on YouTube:

In a Play the Game FIRST, we had Van Ryder Games - the designer and Publisher of KEEPERS - into the studio to film an episode of Play the Game. This was such a fun experience and a really fun, beautiful game. Keepers is a beautiful game for clever people - a party game featuring the legendary nature photography of Byron Jorjorian. In the Keepers Board Game, players will take turns playing as the Curator. Each round, the curator will choose one word that is not a noun, and players will secretly choose a photo from their hand that either matches or is the opposite of that word. Then players will vote for the photo that they think is the closest or most opposite of the word chosen by the curator. The players with the most matching and opposite votes get their card back and those cards become keepers. The player with the most keepers at the end of the game wins. Play the Game is a youtube channel dedicated to sharing our love of boardgames. Our flagship series, Play the Game, is a high quality multi-camera board game play through series featuring a bunch of friends gathered around the table playing board games. Play the Game takes its inspiration from other shows like Tabletop. Our Mission with Play the Game is to highlight the joy that comes when you gather around the table with friends and play a board game. Play the Game features a dedicated board game playthrough studio with 7 cameras, a custom board game table, an awesome custom made back-lit logo on the wall, and tons of easter eggs sprinked through the studio space. Play the Game is also the home of the Kidsplaining tutorial series, where Jarred (12) and Peyton (9) teach some of our favorite games in high quality, scripted board game tutorial videos. Kidsplaining started as a way to share our love of board games and help those who were intimidated by more complicated modern board games take a chance on new ones - because if a kid can teach it, how hard can it be? From the Publisher: In Keepers each player takes a turn as Curator, choosing one (can’t be a noun!) word to describe a card in their hand and announcing it. All players including the Curator then play a card that they think aligns the most, or the least, with that word, they are shuffled and placed face up to a numbered slot in middle of the table. All players then vote and the cards that get the most votes either way is a “Keeper” and earns the owner one point! Through clever word use by giving great clues one Curator will rise to the top and claim the most Keepers! All artwork in Keepers has been hand selected from Byron Jorjorian’s portfolio of over 600,000 images of the natural world. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/362106/keepers
