Journey to the Ends of the Earth — cooperative trick-taking through the world (SPIEL Essen 2026)

Description provided by Luzapalooza on YouTube:

The Crew: Journey to the Ends of the Earth is the third entry (fourth, if you count the kids' version) in the cooperative trick-taking series — and for me, it's the best one yet. This video is part of our Essen Countdown on Luzapalooza: every day until SPIEL Essen 2026, we spotlight one game worth putting on your radar — from the big anticipated releases to the tiny games you could easily miss in the crowd. The Crew: Journey to the Ends of the Earth on BGG: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/462192/the-crew-journey-to-the-ends-of-the-earth Trick-taking is in my blood: my grandfather ran trick-taking tournaments well into his old age, and I've been hooked since I was a teenager playing with people three times my age. If you've played the earlier two: my ranking is this one first, then the original Crew, and Mission Deep Sea last. Every mission here is one clean, hard puzzle on its own, instead of stacking multiple goals at once, and that focus is exactly what makes it click for me. The Meet & Play will take place at Saal Essen on Saturday, October 24th. We'll be there starting at 3 PM — here's a link to the event with a photo showing exactly where to find the room: https://meet-and-play.de/en/about/ If this is your third video on the channel, maybe it's time to subscribe. :-) Luzapalooza on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/Luzapalooza This Game Is Broken — the board game comedy podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/1GXyynkXltlLY3hGNoYtnB Thanks for watching, and check out the rest of our Essen Countdown for more games!
