Keys to the Castle is really a tile game, with an array of cards laid out randomly to serve as the game board. Each card represents a door in a crazy castle that could have been designed by Mad King Ludwig or Sarah Winchester. Each door is either clear to pass through or obstructed by bars or locks - and sometimes more locks! Not only must you find your way to the other side, but players can hinder their opponent's efforts as well. I found the game to be quite fun. Even though there is a high element of chance involved, there are choices to be made on every turn. If this Castle is not your thing, you can also get an Ice Castle version, and a Hogwart's version, and there's even an Archie Comics version: the Keys to Riverdale High School!
