Isla 5 Reasons to be Excited about this fantastic blend of Board game & Roll N Write on Kickstarter

Description provided by BoxedMeeples on YouTube:

Isla by Ocean City Games is a fantastic blend of Roll and Write and Board Games. In it you'll draw your journey across the island of Isla, discovering various flora, fauna, and fossils. Once you escaped if you’ve explored more of the jungle and made many exciting discoveries you’ll earn yourself international prestige. In contrast, areas unexplored will tarnish your reputation The game is played through a series of rounds. Each round, players plan their day choosing to rest, move or research. One player will roll all 5 movement dice, picking up a threat card for bad rolls of the dice. Players who chose to rest recover their lowest value die, those who chose to explore can select a die result from the pool to explore. Alternatively, staying in the same spot will allow you to research exchanging discovered tokens for available missions to earn victory points. When everyone has finished exploring the island, the explorer with the highest victory points wins. The game is launching on Kickstarter on 17th September, and you can follow the project here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oceancitygames/isla-2 Thankyou to Ocean City Games for sending us a preview copy of the game to look at. ---- If you are looking to buy Board Games Online head on over to Chaos Cards https://www.chaoscards.co.uk/ We find they offer fantastic prices, and if you enter the discount code AUTUMNB0X3D - you'll save 5% off when you spend £35+.
