Is This Expansion Worth It for Solo Players? | Wyrmspan Dragon Academy Solo Mode Check

Description provided by Boardgaymergirl on YouTube:

Wyrmspan's Dragon Academy expansion promises more content for multiplayer and solo gamers — but is it actually worth it? In this episode of Solo Mode Check I check out Dragon Academy to see whether this enhances the game enough to be worthy of your shelf space and hard earned money to add it to your collection. Hello there and welcome to the Boardgaymergirl channel! If you are new here, my name is Natalie and I like to play board games primarily solo which may or may not include some silly antics. Today I am doing another Solo Mode Check video and this time covering my first expansion. In this video I go through a brief overview of the base game Wyrmspan before delving into what the Dragon Academy expansion adds to the game and how it specifically affects playing solo. I come to some surprising conclusions when looking at my preferences for the entire "Spanverse". *A review copy of Dragon's Academy was provided, Wyrmspan was acquired on my own* ______ 00:00 Introduction 01:53 Wyrmspan Overview 06:52 Automa Overview 09:52 Dragon Academy Overview and Additions 12:15 The Two Biggest Changes Affecting Solo 17:35 Difficult Comparisons & Conclusions ______ You can also connected with me at the links listed below Instagram https://www.instagram.com/boardgaymergirl/ Facebook https://www.facebook.com/natalie.boardgaymergirl Bluesky https://bsky.app/profile/boardgaymergirl.bsky.social
