Description provided by Tantrum House on YouTube:

Into the Machine from AEG is a 2–5 player action selection game designed by Kasper Lapp, with artwork by Lenka Šimečková. In the game, players use their bots to take actions around a modular board, upgrade their pieces, and maneuver them along a conveyor belt. In this video, Will and Sara explain how the different bots, action spaces, junctions, upgrades, and power cards work as players race to get their hex bots to the end of the track. The variable board setup also changes the available actions and strategic choices from game to game. Will and Sarah also share their experiences with the game's strategy, pacing, component organization, rulebook, and the interesting tactical moments that can happen when you line up a series of moves across the conveyor belt. About Into the Machine — from BoardGameGeek:

Do robots dream of electric sheep after a long day of manufacturing widgets and thingamabobs? Or do they sleep at all? Maybe they break off into teams and hop into the machine to blow off a little steam with a race for anodic glory and a chance at upgrading themselves into more skilled bots. Into the Machine is a highly tactical race in which circle-bots race to one end of the machine to tag in their hex-bot teammates who race in reverse on the same track to win. A pit crew of bots outside the machine are sent to work the terminals, moving and manipulating their teammates in the machine. -description from the publisher
