Ice Second Edition Board Game First Impression Review

Description provided by TableTopVibes on YouTube:

Ice is all around you in this upgraded and improved second edition. Hidden deep in the frozen tundra are powerful artifacts of the past capable of aiding in your expedition or sabotaging your rival teams. Dig fast and deep to claim artifact wonders fulfilling contract requests and ultimately to victory. This game is worker management, multi-action chaining game with a press your luck feature. Use your unique character ability to cut through the first layer of ice and unlock powerful one-time skills. Utilize your archeologists to make the work faster and easier. Once the artifacts are unearthed, use their powers to enhance each turn. However, they have to be stored in your ship to fulfill your requests (to earn victory points) and the vehicle is only so big for transportation. So, utilization vs point scoring is the key. Lots of player interaction with everyone mining the same field of ice means no one will be bored. But if they fall behind in development, they may be left out in the cold..... Very fun gameplay. Sit down with a warm cup of tea and enjoy exploring the world of ICE. *Chapter Overview* 0:00:00 Ice Second Edition 0:00:30 Improvements from First Edition 0:03:20 Game Overview 0:04:27 List of the Different Actions on your Turn 0:05:47 Tile Overview - Snow and Artifacts 0:06:26 Artifact Powers 0:07:38 Efficient Play is Key 0:08:20 Unique Board Setup (this is really cool) 0:08:47 Additional Gameplay Module Add-ons 0:09:23 End Game Scoring 0:10:52 Check it out on Kickstarter.
