Teach and Play with Jason Carr

Description provided by Homo Ludens on YouTube:

Step into the boots of young Captain Buonaparte as we play I, Napoleon, a solo historical role-playing card game designed by Ted Raicer and published by GMT Games! As part of my One’s a Crowd series, I’ll be joined by friend of the show and developer of the game, Jason Carr, as we navigate the turbulent world of Revolutionary France. In I, Napoleon, you begin as an ambitious but unknown artillery officer in 1793, with the fate of your career—and perhaps all of Europe—hanging in the balance. Will you rise to greatness through strategy, charisma, and sheer force of will, or will history cast you aside? This game offers a fascinating blend of role-playing and historical narrative, challenging you to forge your own destiny within the chaos of the era. Join us for an in-depth look at this unique solitaire experience, as we discuss its design, mechanics, and how it captures the essence of Napoleon’s legendary rise.
