IF YOU RUN A CONVENTION, GAME EVENT, OR GAME GROUP - PLEASE GET IN TOUCH.
YOU WIN is a tournament-style in-hand card game for conventions or events, designed in minimalist Japan by Charles Ward from EX1ST GAMES,
and is distributed as a Forever Free Print and Play Game for personal use. All you need is this card and someone to play with. All the rules are written on the card. Here are the rules:
::: ::: ::: YOU WIN ::: ::: :::
Face a player with YOU WIN cards. Both of you must:
1. Secretly bid one or more cards. Place them arrow side down, on your left palm. On the count of three...
2. Hold out your hand with the cards on your palm.
3. Flip over your opponent's top card along any edge, long or short, with your right hand.
You Win: If both arrows point to you⬇⬇, take as many cards as you bid from your opponent's bid. Example: If you bid 3 cards, take up to 3 cards, if possible.
Tie: If the arrows point differently⬆⬇, you win if you bid the most. Take all of your opponent's bid. Example: If you bid 3 and they bid 2, you win and take 2.
Double Tie: If tied and the bids are equal, gather all of the cards players bid, shuffle them, and hold them out in your hand. Then, your opponent flips over the top card. If the arrow points to you⬇, you win. Take all of the cards players bid.
4. Face a different player and play again or... return 10 cards to the Information Desk for a prize.
Cards must be won, not given away. Give it a try!
::: ::: ::: THE END ::: ::: :::
Ideally, the game is run by the event organizers with small prizes for 10 cards and/or big prizes for the most cards at the end of the event.
