About Warfront, from BoardGameGeek:
A classic fantasy wargame… in your pocket!
Warfront is a 2D wargame designed to be fast and played on the go!
Your typical 3D models associated with well known fantasy wargames are reimagined as 2D unit cards within a standard sized deck of cards.
Deploy, move and activate these unit cards across a war torn fantasy battlefield.
The perfect introduction to wargaming and the perfect light distraction for veteran players. All the essential elements of wargaming distilled into a punchy and engaging package.
In Warfront, take command of the righteous Zenith Guard to protect the kingdom or lay waste to the land as the Corrupted Legions led by Belzen the Corruptor.
These two factions, and all future expansions, are designed as a reimagining and homage to classic, beloved fantasy tropes.
Warfront is going to particularly appeal to:
Gamers new to wargames wanting to play and enjoy the genre without the usual enormous barriers to entry.
Gamers looking to be able to play fantasy wargames on the go, on holiday, during their lunchbreak etc without carting around their delicate models.
Gamers looking to introduce fantasy wargaming to their friends and relatives without scaring them away!
Any gamer looking to enjoy a fun, fast-paced and thematic board game!
