Watch “How to Play to Fighting Formations: The 29th Infantry Division with Kai Jensen,” a how-to-play guide on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Patrick's Tactics & Tutorials on YouTube:
I had the pleasure of getting a Fighting Formations tutorial from Lead Developer Kai Jensen, using the newest game in the series: The 29th US Infantry Division.
The Fighting Formations series from GMT covers tactical, platoon- and squad-level combat, including large guns and armored fighting vehicles, among other equipment. It uses a unique zero-sum Initiative activation system between both players.
This Introductory video will cover several basic topics related to the game mechanics created by Chad and Kai in the original Fighting Formations: Grossdeutschland Division title in 2011.
This video was recorded during the 2025 San Diego HistCon Winter Quarters Online event on February 8, 2025.
