Description provided by Home Gamer Dad on YouTube:

Hello Family! We gotta go FAST as we race across various Zones, fighting off robot and jumping for valuable rings all with the goal of getting to the end and defeating the evil DR Eggman. Sonic Roll is the latest in video game inspired games from KESS Entertainment, and this one is a MUST HAVE for any Sonic the Hedgehog fan out there. To know exactly what you're getting into, let me present a How to Play for the game, covering everything from set-up to campaign mode, and touching on several secrets that hide within the game itself. Can NEVER go wrong with “unlockables” in board games! If you have any questions, be sure to let me know in the comments section, and if you're interested in any specific part/rule, check out the time stamps to jump right to those areas.
