Welcome to Singapore! You are Tycoons, competing for control over the city. Claim Landmarks, unleash Actions, and expand your empire in the downtown districts! Will you emerge victorious in the Singapore Showdown? -- Gameplay Overview -- A Game of Singapore Showdown plays over 2 successive Rounds, during which you simultaneously play cards, one by one, from their hands, to expand their empire. These cards represent the different Landmarks you may claim: Housing, Business, Cultural and Government landmarks, from the 7 downtown Districts of Singapore. They also include powerful Actions that shake things up. Prestige is scored at the end of each of the 2 Rounds, based on the 7 District Reward Tiles in play. The player with the most Prestige after 2 Rounds wins the game! -description from the designer
