How to Play Hits and Outs | Ron Halliday | itten Games | A wonderful small box baseball Board Game

Description provided by Fun With Boxes on YouTube:

Welcome to Fun with Boxes, Episode 288: How to play Hits & Outs the cracking Board Game, designed by Ron Halliday and published by itten Games We will take a look at the components for the game, how to set up the game and how to play this wonderful small box game. At the end of the video I will give you my thoughts on the game too. Hits & Outs is all about the clever game of strategy between the pitcher and the batter. It brings back the excitement of baseball without the need to keep score or track every pitch. As the name implies, there are no balls or strikes here—only hits and outs! In each inning, players take turns at the plate and on the mound. When you are batting, you score hits and can move your runners by guessing where the pitcher has hidden the ball. If you find it at second base, you get a double and can move your runners two bases. When you are pitching, try to keep the batter from reaching base and scoring runs by tricking them three times. Each wrong guess means an out. The player with the most runs at the end of the game is the winner!
