Welcome to Fun with Boxes, Episode 411: How to Play The Throw & Write Board Game Formosa Formosa. Designed by Kirk Beiser and published by Lynx Lake Games Here is a link for you if you are interested in this game: https://lynxlakegames.com What is Formosa Formosa? Back in 1544, Portuguese sailors were the first Europeans to set foot on Taiwan and christened it ‘Ilha Formosa’, which means ‘beautiful island’. Even now, ‘Formosa’ is still a sweet nickname for Taiwan. In this Throw and Write game, you can explore Taiwan by visiting temples, hiking and unwinding at waterfalls. You might even find time to tidy up the beaches, but remember to plan your trip so you don’t have to travel too far between places. Each move on the map earns you points, but each movement also subtracts points from your score because you’re contributing to pollution. ‘Formosa Formosa’ is a fun and challenging throw and write game that’s perfect for families and friends to enjoy together.
