Description provided by Fun With Boxes on YouTube:

Welcome to Fun with Boxes, Episode 428: How to Play the latest expansion for the classic Board Game, Faraway: Beyond the Veil Designed by Johannes Goupy & Corentin Lebrat and published by Catch Up Games What is Faraway: Beyond the Veil? Beyond the Veil brings common objectives to Faraway, in the shape of 13 Spirit cards. The first player to complete an objective (or to expand on it, if they already met the requirements when the card was made available) slip the Spirit card underneath the last Region card they played, granting it new resources and scoring What is Faraway? Welcome to Alula, a shifting continent beyond the Sea of Mists. Explore its secrets, meet its inhabitants and record its wonders to outshine rivals. In Faraway, you play eight cards left to right; characters grant points if their conditions are met. Each turn, play one card from three and draw from a face-up river. Play is simultaneous: a priority system means choosing last limits future options and profit. Scoring occurs in reverse order at the end – each card both sets and fulfils objectives.
