Welcome to Fun with Boxes, Episode 342: How to play Ape Town, from designer Reiner Knizia and published by Outsetmedia and Cheatwell Games Join me as I guide you through how to setup and how to play this great new Reiner Knizia game! Now that the apes are in charge, things have gotten pretty tough in town. Gangs with bananas are prowling the dark alleys, always on the lookout for good spots to trade. At the same time, new primates are coming to the city, trying to grab the best places. It’s no wonder there are fights all the time in Ape Town, and the local leaders are always trying to show they’re in charge—until other alpha animals come along and take over. But the clever lemurs can help, acting as peacemakers and trying to get their hands on power in the nearby areas with their sneaky ways. So, keep an eye on how the city changes because only those who are in charge of good spots will have a shot at becoming the most powerful silverback.
